LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE SERIES

A vision of the Special Events Committee, the Leadership Initiative Series has expanded each year to encompass panels on developing real-world business skills as well as informative panels on careers in investment banking, consulting, marketing, and similar fields while retaining a core focus of educating WIB members as to their own business potential and the careers to which they can mold that potential. In the past two years, rapt audiences have taken notes from leaders in the fields of communication and public speaking, have filled out questionnaires to determine their leadership style, have learned the subtle differences between business casual and business formal dress, and have navigated the tricky waters of salary negotiation in role play.
