NYC TRIP

The biggest event of the year for many of WIB's associates is WIB's annual trip to New York City in the spring. Generally taking place on a Thursday and Friday in April, around 50 WIB members have traveled to the financial capital of America each year since 2002 to tour the city and visit the headquarters of company sponsors. Past itineraries have included tours of the NYSE trading floor and the trading floor of JP Morgan, luncheons with entrepreneurs, mixers with repreentatives of prestigious companies such as Wachovia, a tour of Random House Publishing company, a discussion with the marketing department of Sotheby's and the female executive management team of NYU Medical Center, a Broadway play, and a resume workshop with UBS Warburg. For WIB members, the New York trip provides a window into the everyday lives of professionals whose positions they hope to fill in upcoming years, and for trip sponsors, it provides unmatchable access to somes of the most driven and promising women attending one of the top schools in the nation.
