SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE

The Special Events Committee is comprised of the Special Events Chair and five committee members who work to plan and execute Harvard Undergraduate Women In Business' regular comp and Leadership Initiative Series panels, the annual fall conference, and other WIB-sponsored campus events. Committee members are responsible for coordinating the venue, speaker, catering, and supply logistics for each of the 20 or more events that run each year under the aegis of WIB. Often, Special Events Committee members serve as liaisons between WIB and other campus groups when the organization joins with additional undergraduate clubs to co-sponsor an event. WIB's panels provide an intimate setting where speakers and audience can interact in an informal atmosphere, while the fall conference affords WIB its greatest exposure to the Harvard community.
