Magnet kit
4 metal forks
4 plastic forks
4 paper clips
4 pennies
4 quarters
4 wood oencuks
Procedure:
First we will review attraction and repulsion which we learned last week.
Next all of the students will test the objects to see if they attract with
the magnet and will fill in teh answers on their worksheet. They will be
asked to figure out what is that makes objects attract to the metal and what
doesn't.
Next they will look at how magnets react with magnets and will be asked to
compare north and south poles and write down their observations on their
worksheet as well.
Then we will go home
