Come along on our 2014 Study Trip!

On Friday, May 30th, members of the Harvard Organ Society embark on a two week study experience in Montreal, Paris, and Amsterdam!

We will be visiting many noteworthy instruments — mostly old pipe organs, but also some newer ones — to learn what can only be learned about our art form by being in the spaces and hearing the instruments that served as muse and inspiration to the composers of our amazingly broad repertoire.

And, of course, since the instruments can’t travel to us, we must travel to them. Oh the trials of life!!

Over the course of two weeks, we will do everything from helping to celebrate the inauguration of a brand new instrument in Montreal to playing instruments that have passed their 500th birthday! It will be amazing, and we invite you to come along!
