By Jun Ki Park
Translated by Juliana Koo and Jung-Ikk Lee

Pain that feels like scraping flesh
Sadness, like grinding bones
Carried by the wind
Taking away the warmth of May.

Long and Rough.
Thinking more and more
Painfully lonely
My life.

Biting my tongue
I tried to quench my burning soul
But when the foundation
Of our amniotic friendship broke,
I filled with hopelessness.

Where can she be....?
My heart,
That was filled with expectations,
Is left only
With scars.
